Fun Facts
Why did you choose to work at Barnard?
Having graduated from a college with a strong history of empowering women, it was important to me to continue my engagement and communication with those who strive to learn and live in a similar atmosphere. I immediately recognized the importance Barnard places on hearing and amplifying the voices of women and specifically crafting unique opportunities in higher education through which their students can be inspired, creative, and transformative.
What is your favorite book?
After finalizing my recent move to NYC, I celebrated by buying the book When Women Ran Fifth Avenue by Julie Satow, and it has since become one of my favorites. I also love—and relate to—Talking As Fast As I Can by Lauren Graham (a Barnard alumna!).
What is your favorite thing to do in NYC?
I love going for runs in Morningside and Riverside Park (both very close to campus!) I’m also very excited to try all the bagel shops in my neighborhood in hopes of finding the best one!
What is your favorite place on campus?
The patio outside of Liz's place to cool down in the shade on a hot day.
What is a random fun fact about yourself?
I recently started making sourdough!
